🎥D&I Carnival 2024 Event Highlight

In this enriching festival, we will celebrate and explore the power of diversity and inclusion through a range of events encompassing diverse aspects.  From challenging gender norms, learning skills of mental first aid to embracing cross-cultural integration, these activities aim to create an atmosphere of diversity and inclusivity that everyone matters.

🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️Inclusive Mindfulness Yoga Workshop for Empowerment of SEN

Venue: LG13AB, Benjamin Franklin Centre
Content: This workshop promotes understanding of SEN and provides tips to empower SEN through Mindfulness Yoga, which helps manage emotions and cultivates a positive mindset. Learning these tips help prepare you to extend a helping hand to those in need around you.

(Certified advanced teacher in Mindfulness training for Youth with ADHD, Youth with ASD and parallel Mindful parenting training)

🎥Exclusive Premiere Movie Screening “WOMAN” & Post-screening Dialogue

Based on interviews with 2,000 women from 50 countries, this documentary aims to promote gender harmony and inclusivity. While the film exposes the realities of gender inequality and various forms of mistreatment faced by women worldwide, it emphasizes women’s inner strength and ability to change the world.

*CUHK is proud to have been granted the exclusive right to show the film which has never been publicly screened in Hong Kong!

🧭Enchanted City Hunt – Unveiling Aberdeen’s Secret Wonders

Date: 11 November 2023 (Sat)
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Venue: Aberdeen & Ap Lei Chau (Gather and Dismiss at Admiralty MTR Station)
Content: This is an exciting team event that allows participants to delve into the traditions of Hong Kong fishermen, expose to cross-cultural collaboration and explore important topics including gender stereotypes and cultural inclusivity. City hunting tasks will be assigned to test participants’ team leadership skills and inclusivity awareness.
